I DID IT!

So I did it...I finally started a blog!  After completely lurking on so many wonderful teaching blogs, I decided I needed to begin my own.

The 2015-2016 school year will be my tenth year as a teacher.  I can't believe it has been that long!  Most of those years have been spent as a Second Grade teacher.

Next year I will be making a big change!  I will be transferring to a new school and a new grade level!  I'm sure you can tell from the blog title that I will be a First Grade teacher.  I am beyond excited about this new opportunity.  I can't wait to meet my new students!!

I want to use this blog to share teaching ideas, creative projects, and the general buzz from classroom happenings.

In addition to new start at a different school - I've also started a Teachers Pay Teachers Store.  I'll be blogging about products and how they are used in my classroom.  My store is called Texan Teach.

Please go over and check it out!  If you like what you see - click the little "follow" button next to my logo!

If you would like to stay updated on further postings, please follow me on BlogLovin'.  All you have to do is click on the link to the right.

  2. Allison,

Welcome to the blogging world! I also teach in Texas (Gatesville, near Waco). I absolutely love your blog button! It's adorable. I might be a bit obsessed with any kind of Texas logo, which made me love your Pin it button even more!
